This just in: I’m going to summarize the main “accomplishments” of the Trump and Republican government since Trump took office.
The stock market is tanking. We shouldn’t be surprised because we are (1) shipping cheap labor out of the country and (2) imposing tariffs on nearly all imported goods. Trump acts like the importing country pays the tariffs. This is false. The company that imports the goods pays the tariffs. So, if Nike shirts have a 25% tariff, Nike has to pay 25% tax on each good imported. Nike will then raise the prices on the shirts that you buy. There is literally no faster way to increase the cost of everything you buy. Cars will cost thousands more. Computers will cost hundreds more. The lumber we get from Canada will skyrocket and thus, housing will cost you more.
Trump has alienated out strongest allies by putting tariffs on the goods they sell to us. Yes, Americans will pay the tariffs but, since things cost more, we will buy less which will hurt the economies of those that sell us these goods. When he imposes these tariffs he is saying, “For no reason, I am going to hurt your economy as well as my own.” He is putting tariffs on Canada, China, Mexico and the European Union. Notably, he is trying to lift all sanctions on Russia.
Speaking of Russia, Trump is a Russian Agent. If he is not, it really doesn’t matter as he is doing 100% of the things Russia wants him to do. He is distancing himself from NATO and I expect us to be out of that treaty in a matter of weeks. He is siding with Putin over Ukraine. I’m assuming everyone saw the argument between Trump, Vance and the president of Ukraine last Friday. A total of 4% of Americans think that was Zalinski’s fault. That is 4% of Americans. The rest of the world watched in shock as the United States basically announced to the world, “We work for Russia now.”
The Republican party is just an echo chamber for the deranged doings of Donald Trump. A week ago they all hated Putin and loved Ukraine. Today it is just the opposite. Nothing happened other than Trump said it should be so.
The GOP is trying to pass a bill that has up to 11 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy over the next 10 years. To pay for this, they are cutting 2 trillion from programs that help us all stay safe, fed, healthy, and educated. The rich will get richer while the poor get poorer. BTW…how do you pay for 11 trillion in giveaways when you only trim spending by 2 trillion. The answer is…you create a monster debt and pass that along to the next generations.
Musk, the real president of the United States, is firing people at a record pace and calling it “efficiency.” The firing has nothing to do with qualifications or needs, its all about show. So, we are going to add a million more unemployed people to our list in just a few months.
Elon Must has openly said we should end Social Security and get out of NATO. So far, Trump has done everything Musk has told him to do.
Trump has passed laws making it legal to take and give bribes. He has ended legislation that investigates money laundering (You remember, that is how Trump made all of his money).
Trump told the military to stop monitoring Russian cyber attacks on the United States.
Social programs and safety nets are gone. Want safe food? Go to Europe. Want good medicine? Go to Europe. Want to not be led by a NAZI…go to Europe.
In just a few weeks, Trump as set us on a path to ruin our economy, to ruin our standing in the world as a leader, to weaken our national security. Worst of all, he has made us the bad buy, the users of the Dark Side. He is quickly aligning us with Putin and the Republican Party is helping him every step of the way.
History will show that this was the end of the United States. It will also show that Trump was able to do all of this because YOU voted for him. Yes…If you voted for Trump, all of this is on your shoulders. If there is justice in the world, in the appendix of every history book written in the future, there will be a list of every single person that voted for Trump and allowed this to happen. Their shame should be generational because the impact of their actions certainly will be.
