What I Believe About Trump

This just in:  I just wanted to take an opportunity to put down what I think about Trump.  This way I can look back in the future and see how right…or wrong I was.

My beliefs, as stated will not be accompanied by any facts or anecdotal evidence.  My assumption is that you have the same access to information as I do.  This is basically just my interpretation of that data.

Interpretations can be wrong.  For example, suppose a guy walked into a restaurant and started grabbing food off of everyone’s plate and shoved that food into his mouth as fast as he could.  What would you assume?  I might guess that he’s hungry or maybe just behaving this way on a dare.  However, it could be that he is from outer space and has never tasted food.  Maybe he was on the last flight in from the deep Amazon and his tribe had a tradition of sharing food.

Could be anything…but it’s more likely that he was hungry.

That’s how I view the following list with regards to Trump.  I could be wrong but I don’t think I am.

Here we go…

  1. Trump is a white supremacist.
  2. Trump is a misogynist.
  3. Trump is a compulsive liar.
  4. Trump made his fortune laundering money for Russia (and others)
  5. Trump makes decisions while in office based on how much they will either (1) enrich himself or (2) how they will get high television ratings.
  6. Trump is a narcissist.
  7. Trump does not care about the Constitution.
  8. Trump does not care about Civil Rights.
  9. Trump fears those that are not white and not Christian.
  10. Trump is a bully.
  11. Trump can be manipulated by praise.
  12. Trump has no idea how to make a deal.
  13. Trump will make friends and then toss them under a bus without a second thought.
  14. Trump is extremely fearful of what Mueller is discovering.
  15. Trump has a below level intelligence.
  16. Trump is a coward.
  17. Trump has tantrums like a baby.
  18. Trump does not understand Healthcare, Taxes, International Trade, Treaties or Alliances.
  19. Trump is being knowingly manipulated by Putin.  This is money related.
  20. Trump’s family know all about Trump and are in bed with him.
  21. Trump knows that the Republican Party needs him because they are unpopular nationally.
  22. Trump does and says things that embarrass me as an American
  23. Trump has no firm beliefs about anything.  He does not care either way about abortion or gun rights or legalization of marijuana.  He pretends he does.
  24. Trump is morbidly obese.
  25. Trump thinks his wife is a hood ornament.
  26. Trump is a failure at business several times over.
  27. Trump believes he is above the law.
  28. Trump’s biggest fear is never having enough.

I think that is about it.  Not a very long list really.  I suppose it’s because the statements are so broad.  I could write 10,000 words on his lying only and still only touch what’s happened in recent weeks.

This is our president; the one we deserve.

Hopefully, we’ll deserve something better next time around.

Up, up and away…

Jim

  1. Some of the points are actually just a more focused version of other points- a narcissist, especially and extreme narcissist, must of necessity be a liar and also craves attention (ratings).
You say he doesn’t believe in anything yet say he is a white supremacist and racist. I believe the first part and he only appears to be racist when in actuality he is all about exploiting vulnerability and taking advantage of anything and everything to aggrandize himself by showing, in his mind, he is better than everyone and anyone.
He comes off now as a racist because that plays to the people who worship at the Trump altar. He has no values, no core beliefs beyond himself so truly he is nothing and some part of him knows it. For all his wealth, and now, power it is enough to feed the emptiness inside him and it shows in everything he does and says. What a miserable world inside his head- I just wish he did not have the power to destroy the world.

  2. Jimbo,

As usual, I agree with you. As far as “not believing in anything and being a white supremacist/racist,” I don’t think you need to “believe” that whites are supreme to be a supremacist. I think the actual case is that you are “afraid that whites aren’t supreme” that makes you a supremacist.

  3. I’ve often thought that #15 was true, then I thought that he has to have some level of intelligence to become as wealthy as he is. Sometimes I think he has to be effing brilliant to be able to manipulate people the way he does. Then I remember he is nothing more than a snake oil salesman in a better suit. Having said that, I was watching a program earlier today which included 20 years of interviews of Trump. What was striking to me is that his interviews in the 90’s and 2000’s were actually coherent with a bit of intelligence. Now he has evolved into a blithering idiot.

I want your opinion...try to be nice...
